Personal Profile

In my current role I’ve been involved in writing cloud-based applications that leverage the .NET stack, running on Azure and also on-premise, with desktop applications for the retail industry. This involved heavy development of microservices, APIs and Azure messaging and big data applications. This has involved working with, and occasionally leading a team to work on an application and plugin for AutoCAD.

Prior to this, I have produced bespoke solutions for companies such as HSBC (UK, China & UAE), Fujitsu, Virgin, BAE Systems, Network Rail, The CO-OP, NEC, Thales, and The British Olympic Association. I have been instrumental in these projects from early planning and architecture stages, through analysis and design, to development and delivery of the final solution.

I am an advanced communicator, capable of capturing and conveying ideas effectively using a wide variety of media. I have been a designer since leaving university, and I have been scripting and developing for fifteen years. I love building applications for web, screen, tablet/mobile and video-walls. I am a highly proficient programmer with a flair for visuals and semantics, and I’m looking to further my development skills as part of a team, by creating advanced, elegant and beautiful applications.
